Bishop Hall is the only school in the Thomas County School System that has experientials as an integral a part of the student curriculum. Experientials are semi-annual trips for the students to experience a variety of new activities and earn classroom credit.
Experientials are made possible by contributions from various organizations. The student may have to pay $15-$25, depending on the trip. This money is given back to the student to spend throughout the trip. Any student that wishes to participate on an experiential trip may do so on a “first come, first serve” basis.
Wyatt Vinson, a student at Bishop Hall, when asked about his experiential experiences stated “This is my first year at Bishop Hall. I didn’t get to go on many school trips before now. My family never had the money to send me on trips, but due to the affordability of the trips, along with the full help of a supportive teacher, I was able to go on the Panama City Experiential this fall. I had such a wonderful time meeting new people from my school, making new friends, and learning. This was a great experience, and I would fully suggest every Bishop Hall student go on at least one. I plan to go on another in the spring, before I graduate.”
